They do not prosper where they're planted, but instead they are constantly looking for the greener grass that is always tantalizing them, always calling out to them. Many people will give something a try, but few will stick it out and continue to pursue that thing. Most people skip around, dabbling in lots of different businesses, opportunities, jobs, industries, never establishing themselves in any one. That, my friend, does not produce long-lasting success. That is a sign of no commitment. The grass may look greener, but I promise you, it's just as hard to mow & just as hard to cultivate that land...

For all you Baseball Lovers that live in Arizona

Fall Ball Sign-ups Wednesday for Queen Creek PONY Baseball at Sports Chalet in Queen Creek from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The kids get to play the same baseball rules that the see the MLB play starting in the Mustang Division (ages 9&10). We will also have machine pitch and kid pitch for the Pinto Division (ages 7&8). Bronco Division (ages 11&12) play with 70 foot bases and pitch from a 48 foot mound. Pony Division (ages 13&14) play 80 foot bases and pitch from 54 feet. All of these graduated fields help to prepare the kids for school ball. We also will have a Colt/Palomino Division which is for 15-19 year olds. Shetland (ages 4-6), Pinto, Mustang and some Bronco games will be played at Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek. We are still working on securing fields for the older kids. OPENING DAY is SEPTEMBER 15th. Come get your kids signed up today!!!!

 Also we had one State Championship team this season that get to go to the West Zone World Series later this month to play teams from all over the western United States. Get your kids ready for next Spring Season by playing in the Fall Ball League and lets go get some more State Championship teams to represent Arizona.

6 Tips for Changing Habits

***I got this from another member of our company and thought I'd share since we are researching and working to be healthier....hope you all enjoy.

1. Become aware of the habit: Awareness is crucial for breaking bad habits, if you're not aware, then nothing can change. Noticing that you do something regularly that you may want to change is the beginning of the process for changing habits. Your habit may also be affecting others in a negative way which may give you additional impetus for changing it (smoking is a good example).
2. Changing is a matter of making a decision: Sometimes you will be willing to decide to change a habit and sometimes you won't. If you have a health problem, it's a good idea to look at any resistance you may have to changing your habits. Eating or drinking the wrong things can have serious consequences which may drive you to think about changing. Once you've made the decision to change, your direction becomes clear.
3. Make a commitment to change: Here's the hard part of changing habits - making a commitment. That means, you will do whatever it takes to let go of your old behavior and to introduce new behaviors that serve you better. You've looked at your old habit and you now see that it's time to do something different.
4. Continue to take daily action: Habits are with you every minute of every day, even when you aren't thinking about them or doing them. This is because when you're not thinking, when the time comes, you will act out your old habit unless you have vowed to take consistent daily action to change. The best way to do this is one hour or one day at a time rather than thinking about all the days you will have to be different. Often, not smoking just this one cigarette is possible and reasonable, while not smoking for the rest of your life may send you straight to your pack of cigarettes! You may find that simply stopping the old habit is easier than letting go gradually or vice versa.Every time you take another step toward breaking the habit, give yourself a small reward. As you take your daily actions to your new habit, remember that consistency is critical. Taking an occasional action will not work.
5. Try a healthier substitute for the old habit. Sometimes it's easier to substitute something else for the old habit instead of trying to get rid of it entirely. Of ten, you may find you're attached to the process involved in the habit. For example, I love having a warm drink in the morning so I substituted tea (a type I really like) for coffee. That way, I still got my warm satisfying drink. Here are some more examples: Herbal tea instead of coffee, a mouth spray or chewing gum instead of smoking, raw fruit instead of candy, lemonade made with fresh lemons and lo-cal sweetener rather than soda.
6. Don't give up: As you go through these steps, you may find yourself wondering whether all this effort is worth it. You may think that changing habits is too hard or that you don't have the strength to change. In this case, you're just coming up against resistance, which is often called the "comfort zone".

But before you douse yourself in bug spray, take a careful look at the ingredients and make sure it doesn't contain DEET (diethyltoluamide). While DEET may keep mosquitoes away, its safety is questionable, especially for young children and older individuals.

Many of you have written and called asking about Bug spray and Mosquito solutions. One of the most important things to remember when using the Melaleuca products is that they are NOT pesticides and therefore will not stop the varmints from landing on you. They will deter them and greatly reduce the incidence of bites and the reaction that accompanies them. They also do not make you feel like you need to take a shower after you use them. They are enhanced by frequent use and your skin will be healthier because of it. It is also important to note that different body types respond differently to the different formulas. I have had people say that just taking the vitamin has stopped mosquito bites. Do not be afraid to experiment and find your own solution.... then pass it on.

1-8 oz. Body Satin Lotion 2-4 oz. Renew Bath Oil 12-15 drops T36-C5 Melaleuca oil 1-8 0z Solumel

Blend well and divide up in to small spray bottles (I get them at the dollar store!) Encourage others to apply this to all exposed skin surfaces, being careful not get any in the eyes. This is as an excellent mosquito preventative that’s equally good in preventing deer ticks and flies as well.

If you do get a bite…have your MelaGel handy!

An old time favorite!

2 oz Renew Spa and Bath oil

2 oz SoluMel

1 oz Tough and Tender

20+ drops of T36 C5

With 6-12 oz of water.

Applied frequently with spray bottle





If you are unfortunate enough to get into poison ivy or oak.... be sure and wash the area and your clothes with Melaleuca Naturals liquid soap.... then this is the ONLY time it is appropriate to use Solumel without diluting it.... but it works wonders if sprayed straight on the effected area. It stops the itch and dries it up really fast.

Spray around doors, on screens, on trees and garbage cans etc.



Fly Control for Animals

Tough Tender - 1 teaspoonful

Spa & Bath Oil - 1 teaspoonful

T36C5 - 10 drops (Horses and larger animals 20 drops.)

Water S to 16 ounces

Spray animal daily carefully avoiding face and eyes.



Spray for Aphids, Spider Mites and Fungus on Roses and Other Plants

Nature’s Cleanse - 2 teaspoonfuls

Water S to 16 ounces

Spray on plants daily as needed. Safe for aquatic plants and it won't harm fish.



Ant Repellant

Spray undiluted Pre-Spot to all areas.



Disinfectant and Odor Eliminating Spray

Sol-U-Mel - 4 ounces

Water S to 16 ounces

Spray tables and chairs in fast food restaurants; spray rental cars; spray air conditioners, pillows, blankets, bathrooms in hotels; spray toilets in public restrooms. Very effective in the basement areas. Remember Bleach is extremely toxic to all, especially young children and those with respatory issues. Bleach does not kill mold or mildew.



Fruit and Vegetable Wash

Tough n’ Tender - 1 teaspoonful

Water to 16 ounces

Use this concentration to wash fruits and vegetables; rinse before serving. Or let vegetables set for 10 minutes in a sink full of water with 1 teaspoonful of Tough’N Tender. Place them on the sink strainer and rinse before serving or refrigerating.

Summer is here...and so are the gnats, the mosquitoes, the flies, and the

Here's your SAFE & EFFECTIVE Melaleuca solution....

Repellent...

Mix two caps Sol-U-Mel with 10 to 15 drops T36-C5

Pure Melaleuca oil into 16 oz spray bottle.

OR

PreSpot is also a great repellent lotion.



For Bites....

Use Mel-a-Gel First Aid gel on bites, especially if they have

already been scratched at from itching.

AND ...have musty areas in the garden or lawn where mushrooms crop up? or mildew, moldy areas around the foundation of your house? ...spray it out with the same 1 to 5 Sol-U-Mel solution!

So I've been dealing with a lot of negative people in my life and figuring out the best way to "take out the trash" as I heard on a radio station not to long ago.  I think that is so true.  Life is too short so why do we spend the majority of it wasting it on people who we know are using us or will turn on us in an instant b/c they can only have one friend at a time.  I preach to my kids to help others, don't worry about what anyone else says...stick with the underdog, they need you more and will be more appreciative.

Positive affirmations are so very important!  Reading positive books, surrounding yourself with TRUE family and friends, keeping what matters close to you and letting go of the rest.  Don't worry about those who are fake or just want you in your life when you can give to them, move on, be happy.  Working out is such a great stress releiver.  When you get to running, weightlifting, yoga or whatever your workout choice is and you feel those endorphins kicking in you have no other choice but to happy and "take out the trash".

So I challenge you all to find yourself and love yourself as a great friend and my mother told me to do.  You will start enjoying life more and realize where you want to be in life and what will make you happy.  Life's too short to be miserable your entire life.  GO FOR IT!  WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE?

BEWARE EVERYONE !!

EVERYONE BEWARE: I just heard about this pyramid scheme thing called a JOB. OH MY GOSH, I wasn't even aware this scam was even going on anymore! Basically, the way it works is that you work for a boss, who is under a boss, who is under a boss, who is under the owner or sometimes even worse - under a Board of Directors and shareholders!

The thing is-- it is VERY DIFFICULT to EVER move up in this pyramid. The kicker is -- you are OVER WORKED, UNDER PAID, and it's hard to get time off. Depending on the type of JOB it is, sometimes you even have to ask permission to take a bathroom break or spend time with your children!

You rarely get bonuses, raises, or even decent benefits - - and you can get fired or laid off at anytime. If you think you work for one of these pyramids, or are approached to work for one, RUN!!!

I am glad I got to teach my kids this wehile I am at home working with them

So Glad that I have not raised my kids to expect to be waited on hand and foot and expect me to cater to their every whim, expectation, and schedule. They know that we are a team and a family unit and they each understand that attention gets spread to them equally and there is no set schedule for anyone. If they misbehave they actually get disciplined and not everyone gets a trophy all the time just for being on a team, they have to contribute, they have to work hard and not have life handed to them. I am afraid of a world ruled and run by a new generation of children that were not spanked or disciplined and expect the world to be handed to them on a silver platter and expect everyone to run their lives around them and their schedule. I see so many kids that get completely traumatized from change.......one slight change in the wind and they freak out. Mine do not, they role with the punches of life and have a great time no matter what...we make the best of things, especially change...it happens and life goes on.

Well, I am sufficiently disgusted for the day. This is what people who live in the city drink everyday, shower in, bathe their children in, cook with, and do dishes and laundry with. In this article it states that Chloramine has NOT been adequately studied or tested on humans and the little testing that has been done showed immediate cancer in animals that were tested. Then people run around blindly making little pink ribbons and say "oh when will there be a cure" and let's pray for the victims etc. How about Let's become educated on what causes cancer and do something about it for a change....I am so glad that we live where we live and have triple filtrated water from our 1500 foot deep well that has added reverse osmosis on top of the triple filtration and no city council has touched or come close to the water we use daily. People need to just become aware and a bit of education never hurt anyone, in fact it will save a life.

A number of direct sellers are telling me  that in this challenging economy, it’s tough to “get up and get  going” to make their businesses work.  Sure it’s  tough!  But as they say, when the going gets tough, the tough get  going.  Don’t let a sluggish economy slow you down!  Instead of looking for excuses, look  for opportunities.

To help you get started, take 5 minutes to  answer these 5 questions.

      1. How much  money do you want to earn this month? _______________.
           How much money you want or need to earn is one of your Purposes.
           We have many Purposes.  Your Purpose could be to gain confidence in
           public speaking; or to make new friends; or to earn a company
           incentive such as a trip or a cruise.  Determining your Purpose is the
           first step in achieving your Purpose.

       2.  Who could use a “Customer Care” call from you? ________________.
           Call someone who could benefit by hearing your voice.  Ask if they
           need more products, if they’d like to book a party, or if they would  just
           like to talk.  When we care about others, show genuine concern for
           another person’s well-being, we are giving of ourselves.  Who can  you
           call?

     3. Who do you  know needs additional income? _____________________.
           Perhaps you have heard about someone who recently lost a job, or
           who is struggling to pay the bills, or has a growing family.  Many
           people you know could use a little more income.  Let these individuals
           know about your business opportunity.  Your call could be the call that
           changes a life for the better.

      4. Which  member of your team could use a positive word of
           encouragement?____________.  Whether your team numbers a few or
           into the hundreds, there are team members who need your
           encouraging words. Take a moment to call a member of your team.
           Thank her for her efforts.  Congratulate her on a recent
           accomplishment.  Invite her to lunch.  Reach out and inspire.

       5.  How can you make your business stronger? ____________________.
            List at least one thing you can do today to make your business
            stronger.  Perhaps there is a motivational article in a magazine you
            have set aside to read later.  Is it time to pick it up and give it a
            read?  Is there a motivational tape you have wanted to try?  From
            time to time, we all need to recharge our motivational batteries.
