It's that time of year...you and your family are spending more time outdoors. Along with sunshine & flowers, springtime brings out the insects, mosquitos and bees. Do you want to protect yourself from bites & stings, but you don't want to use harsh pesticides? Melaleuca can help! While not a pesticide, the following recipes can help deter bugs & reduce the incidences of bites & stings, keeping your family protected NATURALLY!

Bug Repellent
2 oz Renew bath oil
2 oz Sol-U-Mel
1 oz Tough and Tender
~20 drops of T36-C5 oil
~6 oz water
Mix in spray bottle and apply frequently
Mosquito Spray
1 teaspoon Tough & Tender
1 capful Sol-U-Mel
1 capful Renew bath oil
Mix with water in a 16 oz. spray bottle and spray it on!
 Mosquito Repellent for Babies & Children
Sol-U-Mel - 3 ounces
5 Drops of T36-C5 oil
Water 8 to 16 ounces
You can spray this on their skin, clothes and even their strollers!
Bug and Fly Control Spray
Sol-U-Mel - 2 ounces
T36-C5 oil - 5 drops
Tough Tender - 1 teaspoonful
Water 8 to 16 ounces
Spray around doors, on screens, on trees and garbage cans etc.
Fly Control for Animals
Tough Tender - 1 teaspoonful
Renew Bath Oil - 1 teaspoonful
T36-C5 - 10 drops (Horses and larger animals 20 drops.)
Water 8 to 16 ounces
Spray animal daily carefully avoiding eyes.
Spray for Aphids, Spider Mites & Fungus on Roses and Other Plants
Nature's Cleanse - 2 teaspoonfuls
Water 8 to 16 ounces

To rid your home of other creatures such as beetles,
crickets, and termites, try treating them with 10 to 12
drops of T36-C5, 1 capful of Sol-U-Mel and 1 teaspoon of
Sol-U-Guard in a 16-oz spray bottle filled with water.
Bugs on Your Plants
Use 1/2 teaspoon of Tough & Tender in a 16-ounce spray
bottle filled with water. Spray on any plants that have
pests.
For Bites....
Use Mel-a-Gel on any kind of bug bites to take away itch and
pain - especially if they have already been scratched so that they don't get infected. SunShades Lip Balm and Hot Shot or Cool Shot work great on bites, too - PAIN GONE!
