It's just not right.

It's just not right. When companies like Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat use dangerous chemicals in their sunscreens, it's you and me who pay the price.

Why do we shell out so much money during sunscreen season for chemical cocktails and end up with ingredients that disrupt hormones and accelerate skin tumors and lesions on sun-exposed skin?

Because we assume that labels don't lie and that our... government is watchdogging this billion-dollar industry.

And it's not just sunscreen. There could be harmful ingredients in anything from your moisturizers to your tap water - even your fruits and vegetables.

We depend on companies to tell the truth about the toxins we put on or in our bodies, these manufacturers should put the info on their labels in plain english so everyone will understand the dangers from using them.

Moms, learn what quaternium 15 & 22 is, google it and then see if it is on the label of your childrens products you use on your babies and toddlers! If it is, contact me and I will show you how to detox your home and raise healthy and happy babies!

What is your in your suncreen ?

Not all sunscreens are safe! There are TWO on the market that are safe, chemical free, and don't contribute to skin cancer.
In all, 84 percent of the 831 sunscreens EWG tested did not pass health and environmental muster. Many contained potentially harmful chemicals like Benzophenone, homosalate and octyl methoxycinnamate (also called octinoxate), which are known to mimic naturally occurring bodily hormones and can thus throw the body’s systems out of whack. Some also contained Padimate-0 and parsol 1789 (also known as avobenzone), which are suspected of causing DNA damage when exposed to sunlight. Furthermore, EWG found that more than half the sunscreens on the market make questionable product claims about longevity, water resistance and UV protection.
