Allergies, Cancer, Circulation...AND SO MUCH MORE!

I used to have serious hay fever symptoms.  Now I faithfully take Vitality 6 (which includes the grapeseed extract in the Provex CV) and eat more fruits and vegetables. This year I have not had any hay fever symptoms! Not a one! It's like, this year they just disappeared! Last year, I had a time or two when I felt I was going to start sneezing, and felt the itchy nose and ears. I just used the Cool Shot Breath Spray, and it cut the reaction.

MELALEUCA NEWS FLASH
~Grape Seed Extract~
AMAZING health benefits!!

Available in Melaleuca's Provex CV and Provex Plus!

Grape Seed Extract Uses
Grape seed extract is derived from the small seeds found in red grapes. They contain proanthocyanidins and resveratrol, which are both powerful antioxidants, and linoleic acid, which is an unsaturated fatty acid that is considered essential to the human diet.

Melaleuca's Provex CV also has added benefits:

·
    • Maintains healthy blood pressure, reduces LDL oxidation, and promotes healthy platelet activity
    • Patented blend of grape seed/skin extract, resveratrol, quercetin, green tea extract, bromelain
    • Antioxidant power of 10,000 grapes in every bottle

GRAPE SEED EXTRACT:

Circulatory Disorders

Grape seed extract can be helpful with some circulatory disorders, such as varicose veins, spider veins, hemorrhoids and poor circulation, because it helps strengthen the blood vessels and also helps thin the blood without any gastrointestinal irritation and bleeding. Take one grape seed extract capsule twice a day to help repair damaged blood vessels and impaired capillary valves.

Cancer

Grape seed extract contains resveratrol, which helps interfere with cancer cell growth and division, according to Greathomeremedies.com. Taking a grape seed extract capsule two to three times a day may be helpful for people who are at high risk for the disease. The extract may help to stop tumors from growing and help them shrink.

Allergies

Grape seed extract helps prevent the release of a chemical called prostaglandin, which causes inflammation during an allergy attack, thus helping with sneezing, congestion and other reactions due to allergies. Because grape seed extract is considered a natural antihistamine, it helps to keep hives, hay fever and eczema at bay.

Age Spots and Sunburn

Grape seed extract oil is good at lightening the effects of age spots and pigmented skin caused by UV radiation. Grape seed extract supplements may heal and minimize the risk of sunburn and reduce the appearance of age spots.

Skin Problems

Grape seed extract contains linoleic acid, which may be beneficial in helping to treat acne, allergic reactions, dermatitis, atopic eczema and dry, itchy skin. Apply grape seed extract oil to the affected areas of the skin two to three times a day. For an added health benefit, take an extract supplement daily.

Hay Fever-  From RMbarry.com

The Weather Channel reports a "wretched fall allergy season ahead". It is being called the worst and longest hay fever season in recent memory. A hotter than normal spring/summer and an expected warm autumn is producing a bumper crop of pollen-laden weeds. The effect of this unusual weather is a hay fever season that will be well fueled into October and November.
An allergic person has an immune system that mistakenly identifies pollens and molds as harmful allergens. In response the body releases histamine which causes an inflammatory reaction. The sneezing, stuffiness, and watery eyes are the result of the body's effort to flush out allergens.
An article on WebMD presents a link between diet and allergies. Eating more fruits, vegetables, nuts, omega-3 fatty acids, tea, and grapes, not only will help improve overall health, but also boosts immunity to allergies. Plus, some foods can actually help us breathe better. They open up congested nasal passages. Grapes in particular were found to reduce inflammation, and protect against allergies.
The grape flavonoids found in ProvexCV and ProVex-Plus have antihistamine action, as well as anti-allergic action. Grape seed extract is known to act as a natural antihistamine.
The Vitality 6 Essentials + Heart pack contains research-recommended essentials, including probiotics, omega-3s, and ProvexCV.
The Melaleuca Wellness Guide recommends during hay fever season to use a cold-mist humidifier with 1/2 cap of Sol-U-Mel. Using the humidifier at night will help improve breathing and reduce coughing. Some people use as much as two capfuls of Sol-U-Mel, combined with ten drops of T36-C5 in the humidifier.
Avoidance of allergens is the first line of defense. But for those times when pollens get the best of you, try CounterAct Allergy. It contains loratadine, the same active ingredient and dosage used in Claritin, but with a savings of up to 50%. Loratadine helps reduce allergy symptoms by blocking histamine. Originally this medication was available by prescription only.
